Installing Add-ons in confluence

You can install add-ons in Confluence with just a few clicks and in two ways.

It can be done either directly by the administration interface of your Atlassian application or with the file upload procedure.

Installing by file upload

  1. Visit the add-on marketplace page.
  2. Select "try for free" or "buy it now"
  3. NOTE: To continue the next steps you must have a my.Atlassian account. You can create one and then log in to the Marketplace. 
  4. Download the "OBR" file and save the provided license. 
  5. Login in the administration section of your Confluence instance.
  6. Go to the Manage add-ons section and upload the add-on package file you downloaded.
  7. Add the license in the specific section 

Install from Confluence instance

  1. Login in the administration section of your Confluence instance.
  2. Go to the "Find new add-ons" section and type in the search bar the name of your add-ons (example "IDEATION").
  3. You can make your search easier by making a filter according to the "Blueprint" category.
  4. Select "try add-on" or "buy" and follow the steps specified.
